My name is Théa (rhymes with “Princess Leia”) Rosenburg—longtime mastermind behind Little Book, Big Story, as well as co-editor of the book Wild Things & Castles in the Sky: A Guide to Choosing the Best Books for Children, writer featured in various and sundry publications, and freelance editor.
I’m a wife of 20+ years and mother to four fabulous daughters (half of them teens! It boggles the mind); the six of us share a small, one-hundred-and-eleventy-year-old home with our cattle dog and three kittens named Mogget, Swordfight, and Dume.
I have been known to roller skate in our dining room (though not without injury) and to develop deep fascinations with everyday things (such as, for example, ghost signs).
I love writing about the grace and goodness of the Lord in ordinary moments, whether we find it in a picture book, in a trailside pond, or in a ten-year-old’s drawing.
I think you and I will get along swimmingly.
We are human and humble and of the earth, and we cannot create until we acknowledge our createdness.
